1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.
2. Services Description
LightUp Pros provides professional holiday and decorative lighting installation services including:
- Custom lighting design and consultation
- Installation of LED lights and decorations
- Seasonal maintenance and repairs
- Post-season removal and storage
- Residential and commercial lighting solutions
3. Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Prices are subject to change based on project scope modifications
- Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before work begins
- Additional charges may apply for changes requested after installation begins
4. Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required to schedule installation
- Final payment is due upon completion of installation
- We accept credit cards, debit cards, and e-transfers
- Late payments may incur additional fees
- Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy
5. Scheduling and Installation
- Installation dates are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis
- We will provide a 2-4 hour arrival window on installation day
- Weather conditions may require rescheduling for safety reasons
- Client must provide access to property and electrical outlets
- Client is responsible for ensuring pets are secured during installation
6. Property Access and Safety
- Client grants permission for our team to access the property for installation, maintenance, and removal
- We will take reasonable care to avoid damage to property
- Pre-existing damage should be reported before installation
- Client is responsible for clearing work areas of obstacles
- We are not responsible for damage to fragile roof materials or gutters in poor condition
7. Equipment and Materials
- All lighting equipment remains the property of LightUp Pros unless otherwise specified
- Equipment is provided for seasonal use only
- Client must not modify, remove, or tamper with installed lights
- We use commercial-grade LED lights and professional mounting hardware
8. Maintenance and Repairs
- Seasonal maintenance is included in all installation packages
- We will replace burned-out bulbs and repair malfunctions at no additional charge
- Damage caused by client negligence or third parties is not covered
- Emergency repair requests will be addressed within 48 hours
9. Removal and Storage
- Post-season removal is included in all packages
- Removal typically occurs in January or February
- Equipment is stored at our facility for use in subsequent seasons
- Early removal requests may incur additional fees
10. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 14+ days before scheduled installation: Full refund of deposit
- Cancellations made 7-13 days before installation: 50% refund of deposit
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before installation: No refund
- We reserve the right to cancel services due to unsafe conditions
11. Warranty and Liability
- We guarantee our workmanship for the duration of the season
- LED lights are warranted against manufacturing defects
- We carry $5 million liability insurance
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
12. Intellectual Property
All custom designs, photographs, and marketing materials created by LightUp Pros remain our intellectual property. We reserve the right to use project photos for marketing purposes unless client requests otherwise in writing.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or government actions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
